Nomadra
Three internationally established musicians, each with a distinct artistic signature, meet in an extraordinary trio.
EPI, one of the leading exponents of Mongolian throat and overtone singing, combines his archaic, overtone-rich vocal artistry with the sound of the traditional Morin Khuur, the Mongolian horsehead fiddle, bringing the depth of Central Asian steppe tradition into a contemporary context.
American harpist Park Stickney is one of the most innovative voices on his instrument. In 2021 he completed a PhD at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London on extreme pedal techniques, enabling harmonically complex jazz standards — long considered "unplayable" on the pedal harp — to be realized. With virtuosic technique and improvisational freedom, he expands the possibilities of his instrument far beyond classical boundaries.
Omri Hason, a Switzerland-based percussionist, blends Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Indian rhythmic traditions into a rich and dynamic musical language.
In Nomadra, voice, Morin Khuur, harp, and percussion merge into a transparent yet powerful sonic space. The trio stands for musical dialogue at the highest level — between tradition and the present, improvisation and composition, archaic expression and modern aesthetics.
